Use the glue on, concrete walls, iron, and wood surfaces. Do not use it on glass or paper surfaces.

Part 2 – Putting Your Materials In Place

Check the borders of the synthetic fabric. Ensure they are smooth, plain and without damages.

Synthetic glues can not hold rough surfaces together.  Other glues can when used on woods or papers.

Rather, the synthetic glue will congeal. It is very necessary the borders are very smooth and plain.

Use router or soft sandpaper to smoothen the non-smooth boarders.

Be careful,  you do not smoothen the borders to become round.

Ensure that all the places you want to glue are not extra smooth and reflective.

An example is Weld-On 4. You can buy it at Amazon for $15. The bottle and needle with which it is applied come with the glue.

Use a funnel to pour the glue into the bottle. Fill the bottle to around 70% capacity. Press the bottle to remove the air inside.

Ensure you position them at angle 90 degree to each other.

Use square to check if they are at correct angle. Hold the joined points with your hands or clamp.

Holding the fabrics together with gum tape will keep them from shifting. You can now apply the glue.

Keep the applicator bottle the proper way. Turn it upside down.

Point the needle at the point where the borders joined.

Press the bottle gently and move the needle to all the joined points.

As you move the needle, the glue will sink into the joints, filling every gap.

Continue to press the bottle gently as you move your hand. This is to avoid over-application of glue on the fabric.

If it is a box corner, administer the glue on two sides of the fabric joints. Administer glue on two sides of the fabric, if it is a flat edge.

Protect any part of the synthetic fabric you do not want to glue from glue stain.

The glue will forever deface any spot it stains. If synthetic cement drops on a piece of synthetic fabric, allow it to dry out. Do not clean it.

Let the synthetic glue congeal. This takes about 10 to 15 minutes for many types of glue.

While this least, hold the borders with your hands or with a clamp.

You have to wait for about 24 to 48 hours for it to be perfectly set.

The color of synthetic glue is off-white. When it glues synthetic fabrics properly, they will become bright.

Dressing the synthetic glue. Use a router to smooth places you find unnecessary glue.

Have it in mind that, heat generated by the router can melt the glue.

Be sure the glue is properly strong before you smooth.
