Deciding The Best Place To Work
Get the right place to work. Because you may make use of glues, look out for a place that is airy.
Glues do catch fire. Look for places like, outside a building or in a building with many openings.

Use router or soft sandpaper to smoothen the non-smooth boarders.

Clean the synthetic fabric with a solvent. After sanding and smoothing the borders, clean it with a neat duster and spirit.
The solvent will clean off all kinds of dust and stains on it.
Every oil remaining on your hand is also removed by the solvent. Oil may hinder gluing.
It is very necessary you remove every dust.
Mix the synthetic fabric cement. Non-acidic glue is the best for synthetic fabrics.
An example is Weld-On 4. You can buy it at Amazon for $15. The bottle and needle with which it is applied come with the glue.
Use a funnel to pour the glue into the bottle. Fill the bottle to around 70% capacity. Press the bottle to remove the air inside.
Part 3 – Using The Acrylic Glue
To join the synthetic fabrics. Position them as you want them to be.
Ensure you position them at angle 90 degree to each other.
Use square to check if they are at correct angle. Hold the joined points with your hands or clamp.
Check again, to ensue the joints are properly in order, before you glue.
Holding the fabrics together with gum tape will keep them from shifting. You can now apply the glue.

Keep the applicator bottle the proper way. Turn it upside down.
Point the needle at the point where the borders joined.
Press the bottle gently and move the needle to all the joined points.
As you move the needle, the glue will sink into the joints, filling every gap.
Continue to press the bottle gently as you move your hand. This is to avoid over-application of glue on the fabric.
If it is a box corner, administer the glue on two sides of the fabric joints. Administer glue on two sides of the fabric, if it is a flat edge.
Protect any part of the synthetic fabric you do not want to glue from glue stain.
The glue will forever deface any spot it stains. If synthetic cement drops on a piece of synthetic fabric, allow it to dry out. Do not clean it.
Let the synthetic glue congeal. This takes about 10 to 15 minutes for many types of glue.

You have to wait for about 24 to 48 hours for it to be perfectly set.
